KLCII across borders to seek early childhood teachers
KLCII held a Malaysia recruitment and interview session on January 2020. The event seen an attendance of 17 Malaysian UEC/SPM graduates for a work and training scheme (Place-and-Train) for preschool teachers in Singapore.
Recruitment and Interview session for Malaysia UEC/SPM graduates at Skool4Kidz Sengkang Large Centre
The session was held at the Skool4Kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park, a KLCII preschool employment partner. Students under the scheme will take up a preschool teaching position with Skool4Kidz they have completed the 1,200 hours WSQ Professional Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education with KLCII.
The 15 students from Johor and 2 students from Kuala Lumpur, who recently graduated with the Malaysian Certificate of Education (SPM) and the Unified Examination Certificate (UEC), were briefed on the diploma course and their obligations.

During the session, the students (some were accompanied by their parents) had a chance to take a tour around the preschool campus and were introduced to its infant and childcare programmes.
After the tour, the students then undergo an interview session by Skool4Kidz HR team to assess for their suitability for the Place-and-Train programme.

Earlier in November, KLCII had held a similar session for a batch of 24 interested students before they had completed their school term. It was also held at the Skool4kidz Campus @ Sengkang Riverside Park.
