Become an Early Childhood Educator

• At least Secondary 2 education or 8 years of formal education

• Applicant must be 21 years old and above AND
• At least Secondary 2 education or 8 years of formal education
• Attained an average SOA 4 in the WPL series OR any of the English Language Acceptable Alternatives by ECDA

Infant Educator (Infants and toddlers from 2 to 18 months old) (EY 1)

• 申请者必须至少年满21周岁，并具备
• 至少中学2年级毕业或完成8年的正规教育
• 获得汉语水平考试 (HSK) 4级和汉语水平口语考试 (HSKK) 高级 (Advanced Level) 或其它受ECDA认可的华文成绩

• Completed Secondary Four education or 10 years of formal education
• Attained an average SOA 5 in the WPL series, including an SOA 5 for WPL (Writing) OR any of the English Language Acceptable Alternatives by ECDA

Early Years Educator (2 to 36 months old) (EY2)

• 完成中学4年教育或10年的正规教育
• 汉语水平考试 (HSK) 5 级和汉语水平口语考试 (HSKK) 高级 (Advanced Level) 或其它受ECDA认可的华文成绩

• Attained 3 GCE ‘O’ level credits or completed 10 years of formal education and passed state exam with credits in 3 different subjects
• A grade C6 in GCE ‘O’ level English Language or any of the English Language Acceptable Alternatives by ECDA

Preschool Educator (L1) (18 months to 4 years old) (L1)

• 5 GCE ‘O’ Level credits, including a credit at least C6 in EL1 OR
• 5 GCE ‘O’ Level credits and any of the English Language Acceptable Alternatives by ECDA

• GCE “O” 水准5科合格 (包括华文GCE“O”水准C6*以上或其它受ECDA认可的华文成绩)

• Local Polytechnic Diploma or
• A degree completed in the medium of English Language
• A grade C6 in GCE ‘O’ level English Language or any English Language Acceptable Alternatives by ECDA

• Minimum 12 years of formal education; OR
• GCE A-level (minimum 2 credits), IB Diploma, or other equivalent pre-university certifications; OR
• Polytechnic diploma or equivalent

Language Requirement

• GCE O-level C6 grade in English Language; OR
• IELTS 5.5 or other equivalents
