The early childhood education sector continues to grow, with rising demand for dedicated educators. According to The Straits Times (Chin, 2 Nov 2024), the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA) and five anchor operators aim to create nearly 40,000 new infant care and childcare places between 2025 and 2029, including around 6,000 infant care spots. This expansion presents opportunities for those considering a career in this rewarding field.
For those exploring a mid-career switch, early childhood education offers a fulfilling path. With proper training and support, many have found purpose in shaping young minds.
KLCII also participates in other career fairs, such as the SkillsFuture Roadshow and organises other events like the Open House for mid-career job seekers. To learn more about how KLCII can help you become an Early Childhood Educator, click here.
