Participation in the Putonghua Shuiping (PSC) Test administered by KLC continues to grow.
More than140 participants attended the PSC in 27-29 June 2019.
Parents are increasingly paying more attention to their children’s mother tongue results in schools, hence, more teachers are seeking to raise their proficiency in the pronunciation of the Chinese language.
The test is conducted in oral form only, without the need for pinyin knowledge and written skill, to assess candidates’ spoken proficiency.
To date, than 800 students have taken the Test with KLCII.
PSC, developed by China’s Ministry of Education (MOE) and the Institute of Applied Linguistics, classifies “Putonghua” as Chinese language with standard pronunciation and it is currently used all over the world.
