Application is open for unemployed and mid-career Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents who wish to transit to new careers in Early Childhood Education with the Place-and-Train (PnT) programmes provided by KLCII.
The PnT programme, supported by WSG, is designed to equip those who aspire to become Educarers with the necessary qualifications and skills. Arrangements will be made for applicants to be employed by participating preschool operators before the commencement of the WSQ certificate training course.
Successful trainees under this PnT will receive monthly salary and course sponsorship from employer and undertake commitment to signing of bond.
Besides the certificate level, KLCII also offers the Professional Conversion Programme at Diploma level targetting mid-career individuals who aspire to become preschool teachers with the necessary qualifications and skills.
The PnT programme and Professional Conversion Programme are jointly offered by the Early Childhood Development Agency (ECDA), SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Workforce Singapore (WSG).
