As a WSQ Early Childhood (EC) training provider to the “Care” economy, KLC International Institute (KLCII) participates actively in almost every professional learning promotion activity involving the EC sector initiated by SkillsFuture Singapore.

Recently, it took part in four events in SkillsFuture Festival to highlight its EC courses that qualify for funding under the new “SkillsFuture Level Up” initiative.

SkillsFuture organised a series of roadshows for various industry sectors during the Festival from 9 July to 21 August, 2024.

KLCII had a bustling month, kicking off with its role in the SkillsFuture Roadshow @ Vivo City from 11 to 14 Jul. This event was designed to motivate job seekers to ‘explore new opportunities, map out their skills growth, and discover diverse career paths.

KLCII also participated in the SkillsFuture Festival @ North East, held at Sengkang Grand Mall on 3 and 4 August. We received good responses at all the events, with attendees showing strong interest in EC education courses, seeking information on course funding and eligibility, and making inquiries about the Career Conversion Programmes (CCP).

Throughout these events, including past KLCII Career Fairs, the Institute delivered key information on SkillsFuture initiatives and offered complimentary on-site career, skills, and training consultations. KLCII also highlighted the new government training subsidies, including the $4,000 SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up, which can help offset out-of-pocket fees for various courses, including those offered under the SkillsFuture Career Transition Programme (SCTP).

While the SkillsFuture Festivals offer a great chance to connect with our course consultants and explore career and training opportunities in the EC sector, you need not wait for the next event.
