Singapore, 15 August 2025 – KLC International Institute (KLCII) and the Employment and Employability Institute (e2i) collaborated with four preschool operators – 7oaks Preschool, Busy Bees, E-Bridge Pre-School, and Sunflower Preschool – to host the Early Childhood Learning and Career Fair 2025 at the Devan Nair Institute.

The event drew more than 150 visitors and generated over 147 job applications, providing jobseekers and mid-career professionals with a valuable platform to explore training pathways and rewarding careers in the Early Childhood sector.

KLCII partnered with e2i alongside multiple preschool operators to showcase the breadth of opportunities available in the sector. The four preschool brands introduced participants to the roles and responsibilities of preschool educators and the benefits offered by employers. On-site interviews allowed jobseekers to connect directly with potential employers.

As the training partner, KLCII provided guidance on course entry requirements and professional training pathways. Offering programmes ranging from certificates to professional diplomas, KLCII is dedicated to equipping preschool educators with the skills and knowledge to excel in their workplace and uphold high standards of practice in the Early Childhood sector.

Participants also engaged with KLCII’s course consultants to learn more about the Career Conversion Programme (CCP), which supports mid-career professionals transitioning into the Early Childhood sector. They were informed about SSG funding, which provides up to 95% course fee subsidies for SSG-supported courses, as well as the $4,000 SkillsFuture Credit (Mid-Career) top-up for Singaporeans aged 40 and above.

These initiatives make professional training highly accessible, supporting lifelong learning while empowering individuals to upskill, reskill, and pursue a meaningful career nurturing young learners.
