Early childhood educators have tremendous impact and influence on shaping the thoughts and opinions of children with regards to science. It is the experiences that encourage discovery through play, asking questions, exploration and using creativity to solve simple problems. Research shows that most children have formed an opinion about science by the time they reach the age of 7. As such, tremendous responsibility is on the teachers especially with all the emphasis being placed on STEM education.
