TGS-2022014125 (Synchronous & Asynchronous e-learning)
This workshop is designed for participants under ECDA Professional Development Programme (PDP).
Participants under PDP are nominated by their organisation to attend the 3 years programme to support the Professional development of pre-school teachers with the potential to take on larger job roles in their organisations.
Under this programme there are 3 groups of educators who will be trained – Educarers (PDP-E), Teachers (PDP-T) and Leaders (PDP-L). The participants will have to clock in 180 hours of modules and courses. The participants for PDP will have the opportunity to plan and apply their knowledge and skills within the centre and classroom. To do this, the participants will have to plan and submit centre-initiated project proposal to KLCII for approval before the implementation. The project duration will be for 4 months. After project completion, the participants will have to evaluate and submit the slides presentation and projection reflection to KLCII first for checking. This is to ensure that the participants submitted all the necessary components required in the reports. KLCII will only ensure the components are appropriate and not the content of the reports. ECDA will assess the project deliverables and award hours for the PDP project upon verification.
In this workshop, the participants will be guided on how to manage and write the different parts of the proposal.
Small Group consultations will be given to participants who need assistance in planning of their proposals. KLCII will inform participants on the approval of the proposals for delivery within 4-6 working weeks. Participants who have missing components in the post project deliverables report will be informed by KLCII for them to edit and resubmit their amended reports within 3 days.
