KLC International Institute (KLCII) recently participated in a series of SkillsFuture Festival 2025 roadshows organised by SkillsFuture Singapore (SSG) and Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI), connecting with job seekers, mid-career switchers, and aspiring educators interested in the early childhood sector.

The events were:

  • SkillsFuture Festival Roadshow @ VivoCity (10 – 13 July)
  • Care Economy Jobs and Skills Fair @ Toa Payoh Hub (25 – 27 July)
  • My Career Health Matters – SSG-WSG Jobs and Skills Roadshow @ NEX (31 July – 3 August)

At the KLCII booth, visitors took part in the “Peek into a Child’s Mind!” activity, where they guessed what young children were expressing through their drawings and scribbles. This fun experience highlighted the importance of understanding how children communicate and learn in their early years.

KLCII also conducted public talks on “How Early Childhood Education Shapes Our Children’s Futures” at VivoCity and Toa Payoh Hub, led by Senior Lecturer Ms Masliah and Head of English Early Childhood & Business Transformation Programmes Ms Joy respectively.

Visitors were also able to explore KLCII’s training programmes at the My Career Health Matters Roadshow, which provided a meaningful platform to reflect on career health and discover pathways into early childhood education.

At the roadshows and career fair, participants engaged with KLCII’s course consultants to discover training pathways, including the Career Conversion Programme (CCP), which supports mid-career individuals transitioning into the early childhood sector. They also explored available course funding options and learned how they could embark on a purposeful career that shapes young lives while advancing their own professional growth.

If you would like to explore for yourself career options in the early childhood sector, you can register your interest here, and one of our course consultants will follow up with you. You can find out more about funding support available for Singapore Citizens and Permanent Residents here.
