This one-day course empowers early childhood educators to develop and apply essential practices aligned with the Early Years Development Framework (EYDF) 2023.

The course is structured around three integrated themes focusing on (i) building trusting relationships, (ii) supporting development through observation and guidance (including Executive Function and Positive Behaviour Guidance), and (iii) creating safe and engaging learning environments. Educators will gain practical skills in responsive interactions, active supervision, behaviour support, and effective family engagement.

At the end of this course, participants will be able to:

  1. Develop emotionally secure and respectful relationships with children using responsive, consistent, and affirming interactions.
  2. Observe and document children’s development, apply positive behaviour guidance, recognise Executive Function (EF) lags, and communicate observations effectively with families.
