KLC International Institute (KLCII) recently participated in Learning Neighbourhood 2025 @ North West (LN@NWCDC), a community initiative organised by SkillsFuture Singapore in partnership with the North West Community Development Council (NWCDC), People’s Association, and supported by AKG Singapore and FindSGJobs.
Featuring more than 10 training partners, the event aimed to bring awareness of future-ready skills into the heartlands, focusing on career development and lifelong learning in the care and digital sectors. Held at two community locations, the roadshows offered accessible training and career exploration opportunities:
- 6 to 8 May: Hardcourt beside Yishun MRT (11am–7pm)
- 13 to 15 June: Sun Plaza Level 2 Atrium (11am–8pm)

At both venues, residents had the opportunity to engage with KLCII’s course consultants to learn about training pathways in the early childhood sector. Whether they were mid-career switchers or aspiring educators, visitors received practical guidance on the qualifications and skills needed to pursue meaningful careers in early childhood.
LN@NWCDC is part of the national SkillsFuture Movement, which promotes inclusive learning and workforce readiness. KLCII is proud to be part of this initiative, supporting individuals in discovering new career opportunities and making a meaningful impact in the lives of young children.
