A well-designed learning and care environment for young children is one that supports holistic development and learning of young children – challenges their motor skills, stimulates their senses, and fosters their social emotional well-being. The arrangement of the caring environment make a great difference for both the infants and toddlers. The environment directly affects educator-infant-toddlers’ relationship, and their responses during individual, pair or small group activities.
This course will provide the participants the opportunity to discuss and explore ways to create an empowering learning and caring environment for infants and toddlers. Discussions will include how to personalise the young children’s environment in order to respond to their developmental growth, and changing interests and abilities.
