Frontline healthcare workers are exposed to a wide variety of diseases, injuries and legal responsibilities. At the same time, they provide care to the patients especially the frail elderly who are at high risk of either being infectious or being infected by viruses. Healthcare workers have to be aware of the safety and health issues and ethical consequences in carrying out care in the home or healthcare environment.

This course equips individuals with the knowledge of workplace safety requirements in the care setting to prepare them for carrying out their work safely.
