The Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) examination is a national exam that is conducted in Singapore annually. The University of Cambridge International Examinations (CIE), the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the Singapore Examinations and Assessment Board (SEAB) are the joint examining authorities for the Singapore-Cambridge GCE O-Level examination. Students whom have attained this qualification may be considered for entry to various post-secondary institutions in Singapore and internationally.

This course aims to prepare students to sit for the GCE ‘O’ Level examinations organized by the Singapore Examination and Assessment Board (SEAB). Through this preparatory programme, students are able to gain a better understanding of the ‘O’ Level subjects and cope with the examination.

  • To equip students with the knowledge and skills required to excel at the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) Examination
  • To provide students with the necessary academic knowledge to progress to post-secondary education

*Lab practicals for Physics and Chemistry will be conducted at the Singapore Institute of Science. Additional lab fees of $856 (inclusive of 7% GST) applies for students who choose Science as one of their modules.

Candidate will sit for the annual General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) conducted by SEAB in October.

Award of Certificate

Student will receive the Singapore-Cambridge General Certificate of Education (Ordinary Level) examination certificate awarded by the Ministry of Education, Singapore and the University of Cambridge International Examinations.

Local Students
• Students must be at least 15 years old on 1st January of the examination year
• Completed at least Secondary 3 Express or GCE ‘N’ Level (Academic or Technical) or equivalent

International Students
• International students must have completed Year 9 or its equivalent in their respective countries.

International students are advised to have English proficiency of IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
