Students completing their secondary school education may not know much about the opportunities available in the early childhood (EC) sector, and how a preschool teaching career could be meaningful and satisfying as well as rewarding in the long term.

KLC International Institute (KLCII) was invited by e2i to share insights on careers in early childhood care and education (ECCE), and the SSG funded training programmes available, at Yio Chu Kang Secondary School’s Career Day on 24 October 2017.

Secondary 3 students from both Yio Chu Kang & Chong Boon Secondary School

attended the session by 26-year EC industry veteran Ms Radiah A Razak, alecturer at KLCII who introduced to them the prospects of an enriching and meaningful career in preschool teaching.

A Master’s degree holder in EC education (Monash University), Ms Radiah

patiently introduced them to the sector, career opportunities, roles,  career pathways and how a reputable and established institute like KLCII could provide them with recognised training courses up to degree level.

Ms Radiah A Razak, a lecturer in KLC International Institute (KLCII) walk them through the prospective journey of an enriching and meaningful preschool career.
