1. About the Conference
The 2025 International Early Childhood (EC) Conference will explore the evolving landscape of early childhood education, focusing on innovative practices, the well-being of both teachers and students, and the critical role of ecosystem design in creating supportive learning environments. As children’s needs become increasingly diverse, educators and parents must work collaboratively to foster environments that are inclusive, nurturing, and future-focused. This conference will emphasize the importance of preparing both children and educators for the challenges and opportunities of tomorrow.
Theme: The Future of Early Childhood Education
We invite submissions on the following sub-themes:
Sub-theme 1: Inclusive practices and children’s mental wellness:
In order to enable young children from different backgrounds and abilities to learn together, and to ensure that teachers possess sufficient experience and skills to support this process, this sub-theme will explore how to provide teachers with effective strategies to promote the learning and interaction of diverse children in the same environment.
Sub-theme 2: Teacher well-being:
Teacher well-being is a crucial aspect of early childhood education. This sub-theme aims to examine the physical, emotional, and mental health challenges faced by early childhood educators, as well as the impact of their well-being on teaching effectiveness and educational outcomes. We invite participants to explore the factors that influence teacher well-being, its role in enhancing the overall effectiveness of early childhood education, and strategies at both the school and policy levels to better support and sustain early childhood educators.
Sub-theme 3: Positive parent-teacher-child relationships:
When teachers, parents, and children can understand and support each other, it not only helps children grow academically but also has a profound impact on their emotional and social development. This sub-theme will invite participants to share ideas on how to establish positive relationships between teachers, parents, and children, creating an environment of trust, effective communication, and active collaboration to support the growth and development of every child.
Sub-theme 4: Ecosystem redesign:
This sub-theme will dive into how early childhood education can benefit from designing learning environments that are sustainable, adaptable, and holistic. Discussions will explore how schools and communities can work together to design ecosystems that support support both the attainment of educational objectives and ensuring the mental and emotional well-being of every child and every teacher.
